I did this course due to a mid-life crisis when I realised I couldn’t be bothered to have an affair, and it was definitely the right choice. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Mike was great. He broke down the art of stand up from something we all felt was esoteric and mystical to something we could all achieve, and we did. Like Nanny McPhee, he was both encouraging and ‘constructive’ in his feedback, which meant we all went on stage for our showcase prepared and comfortable. I also got to meet a banging new group of people. Best 6 weeks – I’d definitely recommend it, so if you’re thinking about it, go for it. Thanks Mike – you’re more patient than you look. xx
